FINAL OF THE DIRECTORS CUP/END OF SPORTS SEASON OF AVTC LIMBE 2024/2025 TRAINING YEAR

THRILLING FINALS OF DIRECTOR’S CUP AT LIMBE ADVANCED VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER Thursday, 6th March 2025, will be etched in the memories of the trainees and staff of Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center for a long time. The day witnessed the highly anticipated finals of the Director’s Cup, a football tournament that brought together teams from the nine (09) workshops of the center. The event, which kicked off at 3:00 pm, began with a colorful march-past by the trainees of the nine workshops, followed by the players. The Director of Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center, accompanied by the Divisional Delegate of Vocational Training and Employment, officially launched the match. The first half of the match saw Hotel Management, Office Automation, Woodwork, and Welding (HM, OA, MP, and WW) team take the lead with two goals to one against Plumbing and Piping team. The atmosphere was tense, with the crowd cheering and chanting for their favorite teams. However, the second half of the match saw a dramatic turn of events. Plumbing and Piping team staged a remarkable comeback, scoring four more goals to win the match 5-3. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as the Plumbing and Piping team celebrated their victory. The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including the President of Fako 1A YCPM, the Representative of MINJEC, the Divisional Delegate of Labour and Social Security, and the Divisional Delegate of Water and Energy. The Director’s Cup is an annual event that aims to promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among the trainees of Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center. This year’s edition was a resounding success, with all participants displaying exceptional skills and enthusiasm. The event came to a close with the presentation of symbolic and cash prizes to the winners and participants. It was indeed a memorable day for the Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center community, and a testament to the center’s commitment to promoting holistic training and development.

FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION COMMENCE ON TUESDAY 11TH OF MARCH 2025.

Trainees of the Limbe Advanced Vocational Limbe are bracing up to write thier first semester examination for the Level 1 and the Third semester for the level 2. The examination will commence at exactly 8 am from Tuesday through to Friday. After the examination,trainees for the Level 1 will go for the first semester break that will last for 2 weeks. while the Level 2 trainees will be going for their final internship that will last for 4 months. there are going to spend four months in the industry.

Celebrating Excellence: New Year Wishes and Achievements Mark a Joyous Start of 2025 for Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center.  30th January, 2025 The Limbe Advanced Vocational Training Center kicked off the new year in a euphoric atmosphere as trainees, staff, and administrators gathered to celebrate the outstanding leadership and remarkable achievements of the center’s Director. The event, held on January 30, 2025, was a heartfelt compliment to the director’s dedication and vision, which has transformed the institution into a beacon of Vocational Training excellence.           The celebration highlighted the Director’s numerous accomplishments, including a significant increase in enrollment, the establishment of a state-of-the-art multi-sport complex, and the creation of a conducive learning environment that has become a model for Vocational Training centers across the region. Graduates of the center also shared impressive testimonials, praising the high-quality training that has equipped them with the skills needed to thrive in their respective fields.          In his address, the director expressed deep gratitude to the Head of State, the government, and the Minister of Vocational Training, H.E. Issa Tchiroma, for their unwavering support in advancing the center’s mission. He emphasized that these achievements would not have been possible without their commitment to Vocational Training and youth empowerment.          The event was further graced by the presence of the Mayor of Limbe City Council, represented by the First Deputy Mayor, who commended the director’s leadership and the center’s contributions to the community. The mayor’s representative reiterated the city council’s support for the center’s initiatives and its role in fostering economic growth and development in the region.           As the celebration concluded, attendees reflected on the center’s journey and looked forward to a future of continued excellence.
